Hand-cast and chased in solid brass, this wall font depicts Our Lord Jesus Christ with a crown of thorns, in a full and remarkably detailed profile. Holy Water font below his visage meant this artwork was designed to be mounted near the entrance of the church or cathedral for the devoted to symbolically cleanse themselves when entering the House of the Lord.
