Crafted by the talented artisans of Bresse just outside of Lyon, where some of the world's finest walnut is found, the same artisans developed a signature style over the centuries that includes surrounding exquisite burl walnut panels with walnut or fruitwood casework, such as in this example here. The confiturier is an exceptionally useful cabinet for anywhere, anytime, but this one includes a handy shelf above the cabinet as well. Subtle hand-carved shell and wildflower motifs add a nice touch.
