Copper has been an important metal to the human race since its discovery many centuries ago, and one of its properties, that of efficient heat transfer, make it still desirable in cookware even today! This hand-made copper water kettle was created to take advantage of the metal's properties, and shaped to provide maximum capacity. Hand-riveted to the kettle is a looping handle over a lid tipped with a brass acorn pull. Of particular interest is the tiny hinged lid over the spout.
