Completely hand-crafted from dense, old-growth French white oak, this charming trunk features whimsical Country French carvings on the entire facade, including the massive cornerposts, which have been marked with the date of its creation. Discovered in Lower Brittany, it boasts boldly chamfered panels all around with fishscale, wildflower and foliate motifs in a wonderful expression of classic provincial exuberance.
