Crafted entirely from superlative French walnut, this Country French two-tiered buffet represents the epitome of Provencal craftsmanship, with cabinet joinery honoring centuries of tradition, and bas relief sculpture appearing from the broad chapeau de gendarme cornice to the unusually contoured apron below. Motifs include cornucopia, floral and foliate motifs, plus an unusual sunflower rosette centereed on the apron below, flanked by boldly scrolled and carved legs. The upper tier's glazing affords a spectacular presentation of your finest collectibles, surrounded by hand-carved magnificence that may very well outshine the contents! Full length steel barrel hinges, complemented by the wide drawer pulls, add just the right touch of Provence, while the sophistication and elegance of the design and its execution are certain indicators of the degree of refinement to which the artisans had reached at the time of its creation.
