The simple, tailored lines of the Directoire period have been ably captured by talented artisans in this handsome buffet, rendered from exotic imported mahogany with bookmatched veneering of the so-called "crotch mahogany" to render an intriguing facade. Rounded sides add grace, and eliminate sharp corners, while the Cararra marble top provides the perfect carefree surface. Cavernous interior is accessed by two pivoting drawers on each side, two main drawers, and four cabinets below.
