Exquisite pastoral scene in original frame oil on canvas by Flemish artist Pierre Jacobs, 1916-1963. This work was completed in 1957 just 6 years before his death. Jacobs has a loyal following in Europe and his home is currently being converted to a museum, the Birch House, while simultaneously a website is being currently built to honor his works.
