Crafted from fine French fruitwood, this charming 18th century vaisselier is poised to add casual elegance to any space! The upper register is created by a series of open shelves, rather than the more conventional plate racks, and has been purely embellished with a piecrust molded canopy, centered with a sunflower rosette. The lower register provides generous concealed storage with two drawers over two paneled cabinets, complete with their original provincial style hardware and carvings in the form of stylized shells, floral baskets and a fluted and cabled center stile. Providing a sense of balance, the scalloped apron echoes the contours of the canopy above, combining with petite cabriole legs terminating in escargots for refined support!
