Hand-hammered from solid copper on a diminutive scale, this miniature fontaine, called a lavabeau by some, is an unusual example of the genre, featuring an embossed decorative crown above the reservoir that depicts a royal crown and eagle motif, with the sign of the cross above. Survived with its original basin and hand-hewn plank wall mount.
