Sculpted from select French walnut, this armoire features styling favored by Louis XIV, with intricately styled foliates set upon a background provided by finely molded panel work. Just a hint of stylized shell motif is also evident. Mitered cornerposts lead the eye down to the talon & ball feet which anchor the boldly molded base. The center stile is attached to the left door, and both doors open wide via the exposed hinges making this ideal as an entertainment center.
