In a glorious expression of the classic style commonly attributed to Louis XVI, this canape features a contoured seat that when added to the large oval seatback provides surprising comfort! Silk upholstery sets off the original painted finish that has been highlighted in gold, all atop hand-carved solid wood in the finest traditions of the meneusier's art, depicting acanthus scrolls, rosettes, and foliate designs.
