Classic lines that originated in ancient Rome were hand-carved into the framework of this elegant chair, with laurel swags, fascis and quatrefoil overlay predominating. Gilt finish has achieved a lovely patina over the decades, and the silk upholstery is still quite lovely and in good condition.
