Boasting its original gold leaf finish, this stunning mirror recalls the glory years of the Napoleon III period when styles were revived from French history and given new life. The Regence style is featured in this artifact, with amazingly intricate shell, floral and foliate motifs burgeoning from the arbalette crown, cascading down the frame, and culminating in the acanthus plumes on the bottom corners. The original mirror has been well protected by mortise & tenon planking on the back, resulting in a superbly preserved keepsake that will add an unforgettable touch to any room!
