Soaring nine and a half feet tall, this majestic trumeau has its own built-in console for a complete wall treatment in your foyer! Recalling the glory of Versailles, it has been painted with a lovely ivory pastel behind the subtle sage tones of the raised panel, all of which has achieved a perfect patina. Gold highlights make the intricate carved detailing even more splended, with floral basket, garlands, shell, and foliate motifs represented. The still life of an urn bursting with flowers creates an upper focal point, competing for your attention with the gilded console below, contoured with graceful lines bordered with Greek coin motif, lines that are mirrored in the beveled Cararra marble on top of the console. Graceful cabriole legs with laurel garlands lead the eye to the urn finial represented below, also bursting with florals. The mirror behind extends from the painting to the baseboard, altogether creating a splendid attraction while simultaneously providing a lovely reflection of your room.
