Beautifully grained, select French walnut has been employed to create this sculptural statue of seated Christ. The swirling scrolls upon which he sits are representative of the clouds of Heaven, and represent His Ascension. Intricate tresses, demonstrative facial features and elaborate drapery folds prove the work of a inspired and discerning artisan.
