This 19th Century French Hand-Carved Giltwood Mirror is a wonderful testament to the talented artisans who created it.  Combining a rectangular frame coupled with an oval mirror for a unique look, it was created by hand-carving the wood frame in the manner of the Baroque Style of which King Louis XIV was so fond, prominently featuring acanthus leaves and shell designs which, when coupled with the gilded finish, creates a decorative accent that provides reflective light, form and function to any room!
