Salvaged from a lovely country church, this structure was designed to provide a fitting place for the rector's sermons, and features an access door on one facet. Hand-crafted from solid French white oak, it was styled with Byzantine influence which many admirers of ancient architecture feel is one of the finest and most timeless genres to emerge over the course of several centuries concurrently with the emerging Gothic style in Western Europe. Originating in what is now Istanbul/ formerly Constantinople/ formerly Byzantium, the style developed with an eastern European flair that remains to this day a unique chapter in the development of architecture. Perfect for accenting a fountain, or adapting as an island, the base for a table, or whatever else your imagination can provide!
