Utlizing select French walnut, the artisans who created this china buffet were inspired by the ancient Gothis manner, which first appeared in Medieval Europe over a millenium ago. This example boast three features ~ an upper display on open shelving and behind glazing, a serving area framed by carved columns, and copious storage below in the cabinets and drawers. Moorish arches predominate the carved embellishment, but the cherubs at the top of the columns are the most endearing. Cast bronze drawer pulls and keyguards complete the look.
