This majestic and timeless armoire recalls the glory of the Henri II reign, when knights in armor still defended the honor of fair maidens, and kingdoms were built and lost on the battlefield. Hand-sculpted from dense, old-growth French white oak, it features incredible architectural detail derived from the excellence of ancient Greece and Rome. It would take more than this space to describe all the details, but those that stand out suffice, such as the Doric capitals atop the cornerposts which are topped with knights in armor which in turn flank archways atop each door centered with heraldic crests and lavish embellishment and molded detailing. Outboard hinges mean one can throw the doors open wide to accommodate an entertainment center should one be so inclined.
