The Henri II style is known for representing the refined, stylized, and almost abstract expression of the Renaissance movement, and this example is definitive of the style. Hand-crafted from select French walnut, it boasts beautifully carved bas relief on the three chamfered cabinet doors, each framed with tapered and fluted columns topped with ionic capitals, with a finely carved drawer tier accented with corbels above to provide convenience and visual appeal. Nickeled brass drawer pulls add a nice touch, as does the bold molding above and below.
