The simplistic elegance of this buffet cannot be denied, nor can its style influenced by the High Renaissance, also known as the Henri II genre. Hand-crafted from select French walnut, it features a host of architectural features accentuated by fine molding to create a visual appeal from all directions. Step-front center section is enhanced by the elaborate chamfering and molding of the door panel, flanked by more simple treatments on the two side cabinets. Bun feet provide support, while finely molded and carved drawers above are fitted with hand-cast bronze pulls for an opulent effect.
