Crafted from the finest French walnut by Lyonais master artisans, this imposing buffet boasts elaborate "High Renaissance" relief carvings across each of the door facades, centered with a fierce norseman's visage. Tapered and fluted columns provide a framework, as does the bold molding both above and below. Corbels interspersed amongst the heavily gadrooned drawer tier add a nice touch, as does the cast bronze drawer pulls.
