Pair of 17th century Venetian pedestals were masterfully hand carved from solid timbers of European walnut. Elaborately rendered fully laden grapevines intertwine around the barley twist columns, with fine Corinthian capitals to finish the top.
Circa 1640s.
Each measures 40 x 9 x 10.
