Intricately pierce-carved from solid wood then painted and highlighted in gold, this exquisite antique Italian console features four legs meaning it does not have to be fastened to the wall. And what legs they are, with Doric capitals atop gracefully tapered and fluted columns terminating in lion's paw feet! The Greek coin pierce-carved into the entire apron is accentuated on the corners with laurel garlands and rosettes. Egg & dart molding and Carrara marble on top do nothing but add more opulence.
