Hand-crafted on a grand scale with a Romanesque splendor and form that occured during the mid-19th century, this timeless trumeau features an Italian noblewoman on horseback dressed in full regalia attended by a servant and loyal hound. Rendered in sucre d'herb, the painting is framed by elegant pilasters topped with corinthian corbels and egg & dart molding, with the original bevelled mirror below to provide a lovely reflection of your room. Distressed painted finish results in a lighter visual impact, important for such a large objet d'art!
