Densely grained, old-growth white oak was employed to create this stunning antique Venetian pedestal, for generations of ownership! A beautifully carved composite Corinthian and Ionic capital crowns the barley twisted column below, which has been superbly adorned with hand-carved oak leaf and grape vines, spiraling down to the base. A gorgeous egg and dart band leads the eye down to the octagonal base, providing sturdy support!
