Crafted from walnut harvested from the foothills of the Alps, then veneered and inlaid with precious woods imported from the Americas, as well as scrimshawed ivory, this hall tree makes a stunning presence. With legendary mythological scenes being played out in the living wood, the master artisans framed the artistic marquetry with carved corinthian capitals, lavish foliate scrolls, and Renaissance-inspired bas relief.
