Crafted from fine Italian walnut harvested from the foothills of the Alps, this impressive desk contains three drawers, but how they're surrounded is worthy of the finest artisans of the Old World! Inspired by the Renaissance, talented sculptors crafted the desk tier itself then adorned the entire tier all the way around with intricate stylized shell and foliate motifs accentuated by the unusual rosettes on the cornerposts. The leg supports are works of art unto themselves, with lavish foliate scrollwork centered with a matching rosette and gracefully flaring out to the perfectly spaced scrolled feet. A meticulously carved trestle connects the supports for stylish support.
