Fine Italian walnut was selected to create this classically styled commode, lavished with foliate bas relief carvings across each of four drawer facades. Original turned pulls add a nice touch, too. Note the hand-dovetailed joinery in the detail shot below. Fluted pilasters topped with corinthian half-capitals flank the drawers, with acanthus rosettes, carved feet, and bold molded detail to complete the look.
