This stunning Louis XVI antique bedroom furniture set was crafted in Paris during the Beaux Artes period, and from exotic mahogany imported from the Americas! The richness of the wood requires no stain to look this beautiful, and is one of the longest-lasting furniture woods extant. In this set, meticulously cast and chased bronze ormolu mounts provide the epitome of ornamentation, from the crown to the turned legs below, complemented by excellent architecture and perfectly proportioned molding. Full length beveled mirrors on the armoire are of course original, as is the luxurious marble top on the nightstand. Two boudoir chairs add a nice touch, but the bed has been converted to accommodate a Queen mattress by our expert in-house staff!
