A work of art in solid European oak, this boldly carved fireplace surround features intricate architecture combined with artistic sculpture to produce a work that will surely become the centerpiece of the room! Acanthus gadrooning on the mantel top begins at the backdrop wall and follows a detailed architectural form around to the opening, and is mirrored by the base molding below. An heraldic crest adorns the crown, flanked by undulating scrollwork and foliates. Two modest maidens carved in full relief embellish the columns. Superb!
