Crafted on a grand scale for a gracious manoir, this handsome triple armoire was produced during the peak of the Napoleon III era, when ancient Greek and Roman architecture were revived and blended with a host of historical styles yielding a unique look for a unique period. Heraldic crest atop the arched center section is flanked by cascading foliates and four finials, together with the accent moldings and corbels below have been ebonized for contrast against the burl wood panels. A capacious interior matches in functionality what the exterior exudes in majesty!
