Only in Normandie can you find such incredible works produced by rural yet capable artisans, especially from the 19th century! This example, rendered entirely from indigenous French white oak and fitted with traditional brass hinges and keyguards, displays an abundance of hand-carved adornment that celebrates the bounty of beautiful wildflowers that bless the region, all framed with intricately scrolled panels, beaded molding and Greek coin overlay molding. Doors open wide to reveal a cavernous interior perfect for using as an entertainment center, or as it was originally intended.
