Survived with its original polychrome painted finish, this handsome pair of Italianfauteuils incorporates the tailored forms and neoclassical ornamentation so characteristic of the Louis XVI style. Rectilinear seatbacks have been framed with turned and fluted rails and stiles, while the generously sized seats ensure optimal comfort. Sustained by arm supports that extend down to the tapered & fluted legs, subtle os de mouton arms terminate in acanthus volutes. Gold accents throughout provide an opulent touch, as well.
Newly upholstered in sumptuous silk damask fabric for decades of enjoyment!
