Normally we see coffee mills from wood and iron, so this was an intriguing departure! Crafted from pewter and wood, it represents an era when fresh roasted coffee beans were the only way one could purchase coffee. Interestingly enough, firms like Starbucks and Seattle's Best have made millions returning to those days of yore, in the interests of providing the freshest product available. Note the hand-made drawer where the grounds were deposited. Hearing this little machine's noises is surely a great way to wake up in the morning!
