Utilizing fine French walnut, the artisans who crafted this sofa had two goals in mind ~ style and comfort! With high seatbacks all around and a generous, plush seat, this sofa is unusually comfortable for an antique. The hand-carved embellishment from the arched seatback crown to the lion's paw feet, and all the shell and foliates carved into the apron are a visual delight, as well. Upholstery is recent and very serviceable.
