This very unusual filing shelf was designed for a musician, attorney, or accountant's office, with adjustable shelving below allowing quick access, plus a railed top to place the files for reference to add even more convenience. Rendered from solid French red oak, it features Renaissance-influenced carved detailing down the cornerposts, across the upper apron, and even on the back of the rail. Shelves adjust with the movement of pegs, unlike most pieces from this era.
