Featuring a splendid crown depicting an heraldic crest and framed with fine molding accented with turned finials, this is definitely an unusual buffet! Bold turned columns support and separate the two shelf tiers, with lavish attention paid to the carvings on the buffet below from the demilune gadrooning to the acanthus rosettes to the cared acanthus and bell flower corbels to the acanthus base below. The full relief lions' heads with foliates and fruit on the door panels steal the show, however. Crafted from fine French walnut to last for centuries!
