Rendered from the magnificent European white oak, a tree that has been providing furniture for the Continent for millenia, this handsome raised cabinet is a derivation designed to provide the lord or lady of the manoir a suitable place to store personal valuables under lock and key. Two convenient drawers are perfect for temporary storage, and are accessed with finely cast solid brass pulls, but the primary adornments are majestic lions reared on their haunches in splendid full relief on each cabinet door panel.
