Location: Dallas

Dating to the second half of the 17th century, this venerable hall table has been well-preserved with an original patina, most probably because it held a place of honor in the entryway and was seldom used. Created from walnut harvested from the foothills of the Pyrenees, it boasts massive turned column legs connected with an "H" stretcher, a thick plank top, two drawers and hand-carved embellishments depicting stylized fletching. A true relic of antiquity!
Circa 1680s.
Measures 34 x 61.5 x 29.
