Fine porcelain has been produced all around the globe, but few would argue that some of the finest specimens came from France, where gifted artists applied their ample skills in rendering classic scenes that come alive when glazed and fired into what is now called Vieux Paris porcelain. This example is typical, featuring a romantic courtyard scene, and is set upon a cast bronze base. Cleverly converted to an electric lamp by our expert in-house staff, it features a hand-sewn silk shade.
