Antique Tapestries

The antique tapestry was originally designed to serve a dual purpose: to provide color and texture to otherwise bleak stone walls, and to also insulate an interior from the coldness of the stone in winter. From the Flemish masters to the house of Aubusson, antique tapestries have been beautifying castles, manoirs, and homes for centuries. The color and texture that an antique tapestry provides cannot be duplicated with any other art form!
