92H x 45W x 20D

Location: Baton Rouge

Crafted during the golden age of furniture crafting in France at the capital itself in Paris, this impressive armoire was created from the king of furniture woods, rosewood, imported from the rainforests of the Americas and made into what many connoisseurs consider the finest furniture ever made! The wood is so special and hard that it resists the very force of time itself. Carved into an intricate crown with flanking finials, the cartouche overlooks a relatively sedate casework below which was a holdover from the more austere and preceding Louis Philippe era.  The large glazed door creates the perfect display venue for your most prized possessions.  A full width drawer and mitered corners complete the package.
Circa 1860s.
Measures 92H x 45W x 20D.
