19th Century Regence Oval Marble Top End Table from Mons was sculpted from dense, old-growth indigenous oak which was the custom in Mons, France during the period.  The framework was first hand-made with the strong, durable wood, then joined with pegged mortise & tenon techniques handed down from generation to generation.  Sporting a patinaed stripped finish with a hint of whitewashing, it will be a great choice for the casual decor.  Lastly, it was hand-carved in the gentle, elegant Regence style to include concave, rounded aprons and cabriole legs.  An oval piece of finely veined, neutral colored marble was selected to be beveled and used as the top, making this an excellent choice for any room!
