Location: Dallas

Hand-crafted from select French walnut in the French Empire style by Dutch masters, this linen press was designed to store all the family's fine linens in style. One is immediately drawn to the arched crown lavished with stylized drapery and foliate motifs and accented with dentil molding. Below that, we have two cabinet doors with rosettes on each corner, both framed by tapered columns fitted with cast bronze capitals and bases. Three full width drawers below add functionality, and are fitted with cast bronze keyguards and pulls, then framed with fluted pilasters. Tapered, fluted legs complete the look.
Circa 1820s.
Measures 97.5H x 64W x 22D.
