Crafted in 19th century London, fine antique furniture by Jones, Moss & Co. of Newcastle Street created from exquisite imported mahogany, perhaps one of the most revered woods used by the finest English cabinetmakers, this impressive Edwardian linen press was designed for storage of fine linens. Today this linen press with it's original hardware lets the doors open wide and lay flat in order to be used for ideal TV or entertainment center. Handsomely stored behind mahogany panels inlaid with classically patterned lemonwood and boxwood, the family's heirlooms were safe and immediately available when expecting company. This antique English furniture example exhibits understated moldings, original brass drawer pulls and inlaid boxwood bordering.
