Crafted in London at the turn of the century from exotic mahogany imported from the rainforests of the Americas over a hundred years ago, this handsome antique desk features Neoclassical Regency styling with ornamentation borrowed from the baroque style so favored by Louis XIV. Arched kneehole features spiral ribbon trim, just one example of the superlative molded detail all around. The "front" side of the desk is fully finished and trimmed so you can use this desk in the middle of the room. This grand desk was fitted with custom hand-tooled European leather desktop for the ultimate in office opulence!
