This magnificent work of art happens to function quite nicely as a console and mirror that will glorify your entryway like no other! Hand-sculpted by Italian master artisans to depict grapevines and grape clusters, the entire framework from the base to the crown has been rendered in this effect, not as adornment, but as the actual framework and essence of the work. The carved wood was then gilded for a lasting, beautiful finish that has achieved a lovely patina over the past century. Original mirror shows signs of silver degradation adding to its authenticity. Faux painted console top, which is set at 36 inches off the ground, adds mystique, but the overall effect~ reminiscent of Black Forest artisanry~ is truly unique and represents the epitome of wood sculpture by true artists from Italy!
