Crafted exclusively from select French walnut on a grand scale, this magnificent armoire features a boldly arched crown centered with a massive rococo cartouche, with side cabinets rounding away from the central cabinet and embellished with complex foliate motifs. The generous beveled mirror provides a lovely reflection of the room, while copious storage abounds inside. What is most remarkable is the incredibly intricate curvatures and graceful scrolled forms that have been duplicated in mirror image on both sides, requiring the talents of a gifted sculptor quite unlike the furniture makers of today's industrialized world.
