Inessa Stewart’s Antiques offers one of the largest and finest, most diverse collection of French antiques, Italian antiques, and Continental European antiques from rustic to refined, including a multitude of styles~ Country French, Gothic, Italian Renaissance, French Renaissance, Henri II, Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Regence, Directoire, Louis Philippe, Napoleon III, and more, plus an incredible selection of Antique paintings, Antique French mirrors, Antique Italian mirrors and Antique accessories perfect for blending with the timeless, classic styles of 18th and 19th century antique furniture!
On our website you will find an incredible inventory imported directly from France, Italy and other European countries, all hand selected by Inessa and John Stewart. Under our expert supervision, each piece of antique furniture and antique decorative accessory are brought to their full potential by talented and skilled restoration specialists.
Our philosophy is that you can furnish and decorate your home and office with antiques either entirely, or by using antiques as accents. In the last 18 years we have furnished homes and offices across the nation and have built up our inventory to allow you the freedom to use antiques in any way you desire!
For your bedroom we carry complete French and Italian antique bedroom sets plus each individual component, such as armoires, dressers, commodes, vanities and an amazing selection of antique beds, which are already converted to King or Queen in our workshops. We also carry a great selection of antique beds in traditional full and twin sizes.
Armoires for your living room and family room are another specialty - from lovingly restored 17th and 18th century examples to 19th century French and Italian armoires converted to entertainment centers, display, bookcases, and computer work stations. In our seating section we showcase antique armchairs, settees, sofas, canapés, occasional chairs and stools. Plus, we have a complete line of occasional tables and coffee tables to complement your seating.
We offer an extensive collection of antique paintings as well as antique reproduction paintings. All of our antique mantel clocks and antique long case clocks are presented in working order. Each item in our antique lighting selection has been wired to UL specification in our Baton Rouge Louisiana showroom and consists of antique chandeliers, antique floor lamps and table lamps – a beautiful addition to any décor. In Dallas Texas our showroom is located in the fabled Design District where we feature a large selection of architectural antiques such as antique doors, antique wrought iron, antique gates, antique fireplace mantels and much more.
For your home or business office we have antique desks from writing desks to partner’s desks to secretaries, some restored with hand tooled leather. There’s also a large inventory of bookcases in a multitude of styles. We have antique credenzas, conference tables, and of course, chairs galore!
